Here’s how Hifi Labs uses information you share through this questionnaire. For questions or a request to access, correct or delete your brief, email shout@hifilabs.co.

What we collect and why

We collect the contact details, project goals, budget, timing and links you choose to provide. We use them to assess a possible project and respond to your enquiry. Please avoid passwords, payment details, sensitive personal information or confidential information you do not have permission to share.

Drafts and submissions

Your answers are stored in this browser as you type. Saving a draft or sending a brief stores a copy with Google Firebase. You don’t need to create an account: Firebase assigns a background session identifier to protect access to your draft. If you request a return link, Firebase also processes your email address to verify that the draft belongs to you.

Local draft copies expire after 30 days without activity and are removed the next time this site is opened. Saved drafts expire after 30 days without a save or successful return-link resume. Submitted briefs expire 12 months after submission. Expired cloud briefs become unavailable immediately. Daily deletion within 24 hours is planned for public launch; it is not active yet. Contact us to request deletion in the meantime. A copy you download is under your control.

Services that help this form work

The site is prepared for hosting on Cloudflare. Google Firebase stores cloud briefs in Iowa, United States. Authentication and security services may process technical information in other locations. Only authorised HIFI Labs staff and the service providers needed to operate the intake service should access this information.

Firebase App Check and Google reCAPTCHA help prevent automated abuse. They process browser and device signals, including IP addresses, to assess whether a request is legitimate. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to reCAPTCHA.

This intake app does not add advertising or analytics trackers. It uses browser storage for your draft and session. Brief retention periods above apply to questionnaire records; operational security logs and Firebase authentication records are managed separately. Contact us if you want these associated records reviewed or deleted.
